About Weymouth & District Round Table

Allocated the number 173, throughout the years the club has had many members for a wide variety of occupations. Meetings are generally held on the second Wednesday and fourth Friday of every month.

These meetings may take the form of a speaker meeting at a local hotel or an outside visit. Outside meetings have included visits to the dry ski slopes in Yeovil, ten pin bowling, trips around Weymouth Bay, horse and dog racing nights and infamous fishing trips in Lyme Regis!

This club along with 13 others make up Area 48 which covers Dorset and Guernsey. Other clubs in the area include Bridport, Dorchester, Poole and Christchurch. Regular meetings and social events are held with these clubs throughout the year.

Weymouth & District Round Table is very active on the international front and is twinned with Tables in France, Germany and Holland. Weymouth members have visited these countries on numerous occassions and have also hosted our European colleagues in Weymouth over many years.
